One of our loyal adopters recently sent us this note:

Hi Judy,
I talked to Chris last night and said she will be getting Duke
today. Everyone is very excited to get him to his forever home.
In the month of November we had a promo going on. We
called it "Christmas is for Canines too." Thanks to all of our
wonderful customers, we collected a lot of new and used
items for dogs and cats. So we divided the stuff between the
Humane Society in Stevens Point and your rescue. Items like
collars, leashes, bowls, toys, dog food, some of our treats.
We also had Santa come to the store, we took many pictures
with Santa and dogs and cats alike. So with the money
raised from that, we ordered 30 sweaters and will be
sending them to you as soon as they get delivered to us.
Chris will be bringing the first items today to you, and like I
said as soon as the sweaters get here we will mail them out
to you. So if you could mail me your address we can get those
out to you. We couldn't think of a more deserving rescue for
some of this stuff to go to. We hope you can use the items.
